Meet our Massage Therapists

Jennifer Mills, LMP, ACOM

Hi, my name is Jennifer Mills. I have been with Sorensen Chiropractic as a massage therapist since 2004. My career started in 1999 when I was 19 years old. I have been working with chiropractors ever since. I believe chiropractic and massage go hand in hand. Most of the work I do involves treatment, not just of the muscles, but a whole body treatment. In 2002 I learned how to help people meditate. It helps so much with chronic physical pain, and emotional pain as well. In 2005 I received Reiki training, energy healing work. Since then I’ve been learning energy work on my own, it is a continued practice.  My most recent continuing education has been my Orthopedic Massage training class. I finished that 6 month course in 2008. It has given me the skills to deliver a precise and direct treatment massage. What I learned the most from that course was a way to treat low back, neck, and shoulders a lot faster than I knew before. I strive to continue learning and bringing my clients new material. I love to assist people through emotionally challenging times as well as physically challenging times. My goal is to see people leave in a much better state than when they walked through my massage door.

Melanie Doster, LMP

Hello! My name is Melanie, and I began working at Sorensen’s in August 2011. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment, while working to bring the body into a better state of health. It is my belief that each client should be treated with attention, respect, and confidentiality.

I enjoy giving relaxation massage and deep tissue massage. I believe that deep massage speeds healing to injured muscles and tissues, and I also acknowledge that a nice relaxation session can bring better health to the body, in a variety of ways. Everyone’s needs are different, so my approach is focused on what the client needs and wants.

Sunrise Coulter, LMP

Yes, Sunrise is my real given name!

I studied massage at Sage School of Massage and Healing Arts in Bend, Oregon. I absolutely love what I do.

I am drawn to treatment work or clinically focused massage. I blend different massage techniques to suit the tissue I am working with and meet our mutual goals. I like to get to know a bit about my clients so I know what you are putting your tissue through.

Having relocated to the sunny North Olympic Peninsula, I spend my free time on my mountain bike or out hiking. I am always happy to hear trail recommendations or good book titles. I love working at this practice with these wonderful people. Stop by to see me and let’s see what we can do together.

Jen Williams, LMP

Hi, I’m Jen Williams and I graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in December 2013.  I began working at Sorensen Chiropractic as a massage therapist in March 2014, and I thoroughly enjoy working with all of our wonderful clients.  I’ve come to working in massage because I believe it is important to give back to society in a positive way.  My goal is for each client to leave feeling better than when they first came to see me.  I enjoy providing relaxation and deep tissue massage, especially to the back and neck.  My focus is to create space in congested and tight areas so our body can flow optimally.
